Federal Rule May Soften Marylanders' Opposition to Lower Drunk-Driving Limit

A federal mandate to lower the drunk-driving limit nationwide has some legislators optimistic the standard will pass in Maryland.

Poet and short story writer Edgar Allan Poe was a master of the macabre. The Edgar Allan Poe Society of Baltimore has compiled a wealth of information about his connections to Baltimore--including his home and grave--his works and the threatened loss of a Poe monument.



The Edgar Allan Poe Museum in Richmond, meanwhile, gives a virtual tour of the Elizabeth Arnold Poe Memorial Building, which houses documents and furnishings Poe created or used.
